Installing XP on 40g Maxtor Hard Drive after zero filling it

This is a discussion about Installing XP on 40g Maxtor Hard Drive after zero filling it in the Everything New Technology category; I am trying to install a XP Home from a brand new CD to a zero filled Maxtor Hard Drive. I get the error ntfs. sys file corrupted. Any solutions !.

I am trying to install a XP Home from a brand new CD to a zero filled Maxtor Hard Drive. I get the error "ntfs.sys" file corrupted.
