InstallShield and XP Problem
This is a discussion about InstallShield and XP Problem in the Windows Games category; er. . . guys. . i nid help. . . i juz bought Silent hill 2 (PC) and i can't run the installer. . . i tried copying all three disk into my HDD to install. . First disk. . . . fine. . second. . well. .

i tried copying all three disk into my HDD to install..
First disk....fine..
second..well...got stucked when its almost done...error message: "illegal MS-DOS function" or something alone that line...
And if i run the installer,first disk goes fine..when installing the second disk,Error : Illegal function.

it sounds like your second cd is damaged some how, go back to the place where you bought it and ask them for another copy
Better yet: Go back to the place you got it and exchange it for a better game. Deer Hunter will do. It's a better game.
