Intel 915 GAV mobo LAN card problem
This is a discussion about Intel 915 GAV mobo LAN card problem in the Windows Networking category; I have Intel 915 GAV mobo with 3. 0Ghz 800mhz FSB HT Processor 256 Mb DDR 400mhz RAM and 160+40 GB HDD I was running my LAN on RTL 8029AS PCI card which is 10 mb card and the max LAN transfer speed i could attain was 1 mbps up/down I shifted to Dlink 538 TX recently which is 10/100 mb card.

I was running my LAN on RTL 8029AS PCI card which is 10 mb card and the max LAN transfer speed i could attain was 1 mbps up/down
I shifted to Dlink 538 TX recently which is 10/100 mb card.
Now the problem arises when the card runs in 100 mbps or Auto mode ... the download speed is arnd 10 mbps but the upload speed is horribly low ..arnd 2-3 KBps.The same card when in 10mbps mode works as good as the old one.
I have even tried other 100 mbps cards but each time a diff problem arises and some dont even provode download speeds.
Urgently seeking any assistance regarding this matter.
PS: Even reinstalled Windows XP SP2 but no use.
