Internet Connection Sharing - Alternative programs ???

Running Win2k and a Win98(first edition) machine on a small home network. Wont to dial out through the Win98 machine. What do people suggest is the best way of doing this i. e alternative programs, considering MS ICS is not available for my edition of Win98.

Can you not use the Win2k machine to dial out?

If you can do it, then the Win2k ICS is dead easy to configure and use.

I would suggest Sygate. It's what I used before I got my DSL and router.

Maybe it's now a software problem but maybe a hardware problem? Have you checked your modem setting on your Win98 computer?
