IRQ HELL CONFLICTS & WIN98, DOES IT NEVER STOP!!!

This is a discussion about IRQ HELL CONFLICTS & WIN98, DOES IT NEVER STOP!!! in the Windows Hardware category; Man do i hate irq conflicts, i got a tyan trinity 400 mobo and no way of turning the acpi of, in other words the irq are always going to be shared. looks like some of the hardwere does not like that, my wintv card and sb16emulation part from my SBlive card.

Man do i hate irq conflicts, i got a tyan trinity 400 mobo and no way of turning the acpi of, in other words the irq are always going to be shared. looks like some of the hardwere does not like that, my wintv card and sb16emulation part from my SBlive card. I got some strange lines comming all the time from the right part of the screen when i run fullscreen in wintv...even when i resize the windows to a little bigger then default, i dont know whats wrong!! does anyone?

no... it never stops. You have windows 98. If you are going to run a feminine os at least get millenium

Well basically you are ****ed. The hardware guy who thought shared IRQ would work, should be shoot, it simply doesn't work, trying to find two devices that will share an irq is like trying to find a virgin in a whorehouse .
