irql_not_less_or_equal error with ipod

This is a discussion about irql_not_less_or_equal error with ipod in the Windows Hardware category; i am trying to sync my ipod to my computer. . when i do that, this blue screen comes up with irql_not_less_or_equa; and it dumps my memory. . i just got this ipod today and idk why it isn't working with my computer.
