Is it me, or is Outlook + hotmail become crappy & slow?

Alex, it's your 56k. I always had problems over 56k but now that I'm with 512k ADSL I have no problems. F.

I agree APK, I think that narrow-band is the bane of the net

But seriously, I do really think that network and timeout issues are really exaggerated with a dial-up connection. I think for whatever reason you can have a decent connection for say some servers via your ISP but others maybe having some larger then normal network congestion/traffic and/or other breakdowns in the connection between your ISP and that particular server farm

Try ThunderBird or Outlook Express, could be more optimized for low-bandwidth situations...Just guessing but it doesn't hurt to try.

The last I heard, they disabled access to hotmail from MS Outlook (by way of turning off WebDAV)...
