Try using CuteFTP.. Every time I am disconnected it re-connects and tries to resume the file. Works well under 2000, ME, 98 and 98SE
try BulletProof FTP @ www.bpftp.com

thx..gonna try bullet prf..hear that cute somehow sends info from your local machine to the manufacturer (from a source i trust) so thats why im standing without a good ftp client =)
