Am struggling to connect a W2K workstation to the internet via the office LAN and NT4 server. Server is NT4 SP6 running SBS v4, all other workstations are NT4 sp6 and use Microsoft Proxy client via the Proxy server through SBS and work fine. However each time I try to connect to the internet via IE I get the frustrating error 'Cannot find server or DNS error' Networking via the Lan to the server & other workstation from the W2K machine is fine, its just the internet connection side of things that are problematic! Help plse!

I ran Proxy with W2k for the longest time and had no problems. There should be no problems with compatability. My work uses Proxy and a large amount of the computers are W2k Pro and no one has any issues.

The only compatability issues I am aware of with Proxy is that you need a special exe to install Proxy on a W2k Server. I did notice that W2k Server will run MS Proxy, but it doesnt like to run it. I did not have any stability issues when I ran it.
