Is suspend enabled ? Cheack this in control panal under Power. The same way you would in Win9x. Is you System Board ACPI Complient ?

I was succesfully able to go into suspend mode... I just installed Win2k so I am not a guru, but maybe you need to set something into your bios, make sure Power Management is set right.
