Jedi Knight, Win2K, & DirectX

This is a discussion about Jedi Knight, Win2K, & DirectX in the Windows Games category; Installed JK on my PC running Win2k & everything runs fine. Installed on co-workers PC which is also Win2k. When JK is started on his PC, JK wants to install DirectX 5. Any ideas anyone?.

Installed JK on my PC running Win2k & everything runs fine.

Easy fix. Edit your shortcuts to point to JK.exe NOT jedi.exe

No, no - the Microsoft Compatibility Update patch fixed that problem. Just download it from their update site.
