Kensington VideoCAM W2K firmware upgrade -> Shift back?

This is a discussion about Kensington VideoCAM W2K firmware upgrade -> Shift back? in the Windows Hardware category; I was using WinME (don't laugh) until it completely crapped out after I got a new hard disk, and decided to upgrade to Win2000. According to all the stuff I've read here and at Kensington, I'll need to upgrade the firmware on a Win98 machine, but then I won't be able to use the camera on a Win98 machine again.

I was just wondering if there is a similar firmware fix that, if I want to use the camera elsewhere, would allow me to revert back to the original firmware for use with Win98? I don't think I'll shift back to Win98, but I'd like to know whether I'm burning the bridges behind me first...

Thanks,

(Yes, I DO have access to a Win98 machine, thank god)
