keyboard and mouse will not work in win2000

help me pleaseeeeeeee i have a ms intelliexplorer mouse. . i changed it to a logitech mouseman mouse coz the explorer mouse naffed up. . then i got a new ms explorer mouse and swapped back. . and then the mouse wouldnt work!!! no pointer.

now! my keyboard fails to initialize keyboard driver for my logitech software so i cant navigate nowhere within win2k.. just sit there...
 
im in win98 atm.. despo to get back in win2k please help!
 
whats the default keyboard driver or mouse that win2k looks for?? and where can i restore them

you try either A. booting into safe mode and trying it? B. Trying a repair install from your Win2k CD? If those fail then you will have to format.

I know this is kinda dumb, but, did you check to make sure everything is plugged in?
Did you change the computer from ACPI to standard computer? I did that once and boom! no mouse or keyboard.
Also, yeah try the repair option off the Win2k CD.
