King's Quest 5 & 6 and Leisure Suit Larry 6 & 7 in Win XP
This is a discussion about King's Quest 5 & 6 and Leisure Suit Larry 6 & 7 in Win XP in the Windows Games category; Ok I've tried everything from Run in Win95 mode to Win 98 to 256 color scummvm doesn't work with these games (but it did work for Day of the Tentacle) it has been fun playing DOTT all over again. But i would like to also play these old classics.

Hi,
I could play all of those games on my XP without any trouble, Larry 6 & 7 aint classics, well, not yet.
What error MSG do you get (if any) when you try to play the games?

OP
LSL6 I can get into LSL 6 but it wont go Full Screen and its not even 16-color and the people are fuzzy and blurry, speech seems to be working fine though.
KQ6 I cant even launch the program it just flashes the black screen and comes back to WINXP.
get DOSBOX (a free shareware program) from www.dosbox.sourceforge.net Install the Windows version. Kings quest 6, Leisure suit larry and most dos based games run great under Windows XP.
