I looked under the compatibility guide on this site, and it shows that Kings Quest 8 works, but some problems exist in loading games.
However i cannot even start a new game. I am running Win 2000 ver 5. build 2195. After a succesful installation, when i attempt to start a new game, the program gives me a message saying that there is not enough disk space and to free up 1094 megs and try again...
i have over 3 gigs of space on that drive.
?????
something wrong here.
i have 128 ram, a riva tnt2 ultra card (have newest drivers, 3.7.6) awe64 card, p3 600, and abit be6 motherboard.
Any help appreciated.

Hi there
The "out of disk space" error occurrs when trying to install the game onto a partition that is NTFS formatted. Installing it under Win2k and a Fat32 partition works fine.
I'm running two partitions (one NTFS, the other Fat32) exactly for this scenario.
