KYRO video card under XP pro
Drivers install just fine. Have tried the latest and those that came on the CD. When attempting to run any resolution higher than 1024x768x256, I get artifact (ghosting of icons, any windows that are open) and occasionally screen tearing.

When attempting to run any resolution higher than 1024x768x256, I get artifact (ghosting of icons, any windows that are open) and occasionally screen tearing. Changing the refresh rate has no effect. Anyone else experienced this? When I turn the computer on, just before the POST screen, the card lists itself as being made by Imagination Technologies KYRO don't remember what the BIOS version # is. Have tried enabling/disabling various CMOS settings that relate to AGP with no luck. Card was given to me so really can't complain but would like to see how well it performs in some of my games. Have tried but machine either hangs or BSODs on me. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

first off its easy to update the bios on kyros..just download the latest and run the file ..does it in windows.
if you have the latest drivers and bios then ignor that.
reset standerd bios settings.
put service pack on.
latest via 4in1s if you have a via chipset. but put it on normal mode not turbo.
if that dont work ..i have no idea
