LAN party for kids ??
This is a discussion about LAN party for kids ?? in the Windows Networking category; Anyone know of any multiplayer games that are playable over a LAN and still somewhat suitable for 5 to 10 year old kids ? Quake & the gang are just fine, but perhaps not what you want to give to children.

Nerf Arena was pretty cool, and you might be able to pick it up pretty cheaply now. It was based on the Unreal engine, and was quite entertaining.
Basically, you get different arenas that you run around and shoot various Nerf Toys at each other. There are kids in it for the players, and no rough language at all.

it is 2 players only simultaneously if i remember correctly.
It has verry violent weapons like sheep bombs, kamikaze worms etc. it is absolute fun.
It should be quite cheap as well since it is quite old.

I think there was another game deer hunter, or deer hunter avenger. Dunno if it MP but looked fun. and there was another one where a piece of pepperoni shoots black pepper at evil sausages and bacons.
Again do not remember the name. sorry.
