Laptop keyboard drank soda
This is a discussion about Laptop keyboard drank soda in the Windows Hardware category; So I was drinking vodka and chased it with soda, I missed my mouth and a few drops got in my keyboard. . . Now I have to use the Acer Aspire 3810 Series Laptop Keyboard, when I use the regular keyboard it hits other keys, though some keys work.
So I was drinking vodka and chased it with soda, I missed my mouth and a few drops got in my keyboard ...
Now I have to use the Acer Aspire 3810 Series Laptop Keyboard, when I use the regular keyboard it hits other keys, though some keys work.
I tried putting rubbing alcohol in the keyboard and let it dry, it helped a little
Anyone know what I should try? I might have to take it to a shop but trying to save cash.
The mouse randomly does shit every hour or so too.
I don't feel comfortable opening the laptop, I only have experience with desktops.
So is it permanently screwed? Or is it an easy fix?
Thanks!!
