I have the Lego Mindstorms Robotic Invention System 1.5 and I was trying to run it in Win2k but am having problems with Direct Player.

Let me just give you a background:

1. Before I installed RIS 1.5 in my laptop, I already have QuickTime 4.0 and DirectX 8.0a (for Win2k) installed in my PC.

2. I then installed RIS 1.5. Since I have QuickTime and DirectX already installed, I didn't opt to install them anymore at the end of the RIS installation.

3. When I clicked on the RIS icon on the desktop, a black screen appears with "Loading . . . " written on it.

4. On the taskbar, "Direct Player 6.0" was displaying a message saying "This program requires at least 3MB of free virtual memory to run".

5. I checked on my virtual memory and it is set to 2GB.

I would appreciate any help from you people.

Thank you.

Same problem here. I tried installing quicktime in the installation process and
also set compatability mode to Win 98 and 95. No luck.

Any suggestions appreciated.
