Lexmark 1000 Color Jetprinter Under W2K

I can't get this printer to work under Windows 2000. Does anyone know where I can get hacked or tweaked versions of drivers? I really don't want to go out and buy another printer just because Lexmark wont support there damn products in this new O/S.

The Lexmark 1000 printer is similar to the Lexmark 1100 in that Lexmark is never going to release a Windows 2000 driver for it.
I have a Compaq IJ200 printer which was bought cheap for a few bucks a few months ago on impulse which is made by Lexmark for Compaq and is similar to the Lexmark 1100.
My Compaq IJ200 printer will never have a Windows 2000 driver either, so I am giving it to my mom for Christmas to use with her computer that runs Windows 95.
When mom runs out of ink, the IJ200 printer will be given to Goodwill.
That is the last Lexmark printer I will buy, even if they are practically free.
