This is a discussion about Lexmark 1100 in the Windows Hardware category; Hey this is Unkoon2000 again, is there ANY way to get the Lexmark 1100 to work with windows 2000? Or is it hopeless and i have to buy a whole new printer? Is lexmark planning to make drivers or are they too lazy? Thank you!

Unfortunately it seems that Lexmark is not going to make available any Windows 2000 drivers for the Lexmark 1100 printer.
Compaq sells some roughly equivalent printers that they buy from Lexmark, and the Lexmark drivers are sometimes interchangeable. My Compaq IJ200 printer is apparently the rough equivalent to the Lexmark 1100 printer, and there are no Windows 2000 drivers for my Compaq IJ200 printer either.
