Hey All, ok to start off with i have this LG GCE-8320B CDRW 32X10X40 INT driver and im having problems under XP. Im using Nero version 5.5.3.5 and i cant not get it to work. It wont recognize the drive in Nero at all. I treid looking on the net to see if there was drivers or firmware for the burner but i had no luck. Does anyone know if there are problems with this burner and Nero? or with WinXP?
Also in device manager all channels are in DMA mode, umm.... and when you go in nero and go to write, copy or burn image ... before the burning is "supposed" to start it asks if you want to save the image file...if you say no it aborts the burning proccess but if you say yes it makes an image with extension .nrg and then it quits.. with nothing writen to the cd. Also in nero under "cd-recorder" and then "choose recorder" the LG burner doesnt show up, so thats were i came up with the idea that maby nero just isnt picking up the burner correctly. Or maby its XP im not sure. I have used nero with all sorts of burners and never had this type of problem.

Any help would be great

Thanx,

I have that exact burner on one of my computers, it runs just fine with Nero...try getting a newer version though, since that is badly out of date....I don't know if that would help.

All I did was install XP, install Nero and began burning, there wasn't anything fancy I had to do.
