Linksys BEFSR41 Rourter and ICQ file transfers
Here is my problem. I'm using the Linksys BEFSR41 Router on our home network here, but I can upload files over ICQ with no problems at all. However, I cannot receive files via ICQ. I am using ICQ 2001 v5.
Here is my problem. I'm using the Linksys BEFSR41 Router on our home network here, but I can upload files over ICQ with no problems at all. However, I cannot receive files via ICQ. I am using ICQ 2001 v5.17 and would like to know if anyone else has encountered this problem and fixed to problem somehow. Could you pleae let me know what I have to do to fix the problem. Here's a link on the ICQ page that tells what you need to do, but basically you will have to set the router up to forward ports to your computer.
