Linksys BEFSR41 V.2

This is a discussion about Linksys BEFSR41 V.2 in the Windows Networking category; Hi, I'd like to install a router but I don't really know how to set up the router or the pc, I was looking for some user guide for this BEFSR41 V. 2 but no luck, please if anybody have some info about this please let me know, I'm tryng to connect the router to a desktop pc and a laptop both with xp.

What kind of router? Is it a cable modem router, ADSL router, a plain Ethernet router? Is it used to connect to internet, if so, contact your ISP support for help.

I have this same mode, the docs are on the CD in a PDF document
 
Normally this is preconfigured out of the box with both the firewall/nat/dhcp server enabled.
 
 
@peterh, this device is what is called a Gateway Router with the main features I listed above
