List of all INCOMPATIABLE applcations
This is a discussion about List of all INCOMPATIABLE applcations in the Windows Software category; GREETINGS FELLOW HUMANS, I want to know Is there any place I can find all the applications and Hardware which incomptiable alone (Getting a list which includes both compatiable and incompatiale requires lots of work to get a list of only incompatiable apps).

Microsoft has a HCL (Hardware Compatibility List) for all WHQL-Certified hardware, available here. This is the most recent revision, dated 10-29-2002.
If you're looking at upgrading, download the latest "checkupgradeonly" utility from MS. Outside of that, the most incompatible applications are (drum roll):
1. Utilities - antivirus, older versions of firewalls, utility suites, etc.
2. CD burning programs
3. Interactive/multimedia applications that use an old version of Quicktime (usually ver. 2.*)
4. Some 16bit Windows programs (programs originally designed to run on Windows 3.1*)
Considering the vast number of applications out there, many who's mfgr's are gone, a list of this type is almost impossible.
