Liveware 3.0 for win2k..

This is a discussion about Liveware 3.0 for win2k.. in the Windows Software category; How do I get Device Controls to appear in my Audio hq. Right now, it isn't there, and I reinstalled it three times. I am trying to change the number of wavs to play at one time, but cant if I dont have that.

There are no device controls in the Liveware for Windows2000 like there is in the Win9X drivers. So there is no way to control the amount of voices in Directsound which is why there is distortion in some games when lots of sounds are being played at once.
 
I questioned a Creative tech on this awhile back, he thought that it was set to 32 voices at default but I find that doubtful. I'm not sure why they left out the device controls though and I don't know if any registry settings exist. Oh well.
