locked word file
This is a discussion about locked word file in the Windows Software category; I have a word file that i locked in october 2000 and now want to open it! So you can guess what i am asking! How on earth can i unlock it as i forgot the password !!! thanks in eagar anticipation G

OFFICIALY Microsoft says there's no now. But in fact there are programs that can do it for you.

Just choose Accent Word Password Recovery 1.02
Note that this site has an overwhelming amount of publicity, some of them not suitable for everyone.
You must also be aware that if this document is not yours, you are breaking the law of private property. I just hope that it's for legitimate use.

No i am not using it for illegal purposes. I locked a sermon i wrote back in oct 2000 and was flicking through my stuff with my girlfriend and couldn't open it !
very frustrating but it is sorted now!
The password turned out to be something that i would never have thought of! i must have been on another planet when i locked it ! and why i locked it i don't know !
