locked word file
I have a word file that i locked in october 2000 and now want to open it! So you can guess what i am asking! How on earth can i unlock it as i forgot the password !!! thanks in eagar anticipation G

OFFICIALY Microsoft says there's no now. But in fact there are programs that can do it for you.

Just choose Accent Word Password Recovery 1.02

No i am not using it for illegal purposes. I locked a sermon i wrote back in oct 2000 and was flicking through my stuff with my girlfriend and couldn't open it !
very frustrating but it is sorted now!
The password turned out to be something that i would never have thought of! i must have been on another planet when i locked it ! and why i locked it i don't know !
