Windows XP SP1 Dell
It loggs off immediately after logging in for Admin & normal accounts. Same thing in Safe modes.
I can boot to an ERD 2003 CD and run symantec virus removal tools and it finds MyDoom, but it won't write a log to tell me which file is infected that it refused to delete :-(
I am pretty sure I could fix it if I could log in, but it immediately logs out!!!!! Grrr!
Help me log in please.
Thank you

I have continued to pound on this to no avail. Using ERD, I edited the Registry to remove a couple suspicious entries in the RUN area, but no good.
Then I reinstalled XP, no good, still have the same problem!
I don't know what is causing the immediate logout, I could use some help here people.

Sigh. Oh well, I copied data off to a USB memory stick, and formated and re-installed clean.
