Hi Everyone,
I hope one of you out there may have a solution to the problem I am having. I was setting up a user account on my win xp pro so I could get away from using the admin account. Well the user account froze up on me so I decided to delete it and go back to the admin account. I noticed in the delete section of the accounts that there was an option to either use a picture to log on with or a signin. When I had the admin account it was always a signin password so I unchecked the box for using pictures thinking it would go back to the way it used to be, with me signing in.
Well to make a long story short, it didn't. It set up a new system for name and password and it didn't even let me choose a name or password. Now when it boots up it goes to the xp pro login and asks for a name and password. If it doesn't get the correct info it refuses to go any further.
I tried booting to safemode to get around it and renable the picture logon and again the xp pro log in pops on screen as soon as you try to enter any info it freezes up.
I tried booting to safemode with command prompt and it does the samething.
I have looked at all options in safemode and none get me past that xp pro log in screen.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem?
Thanks Everyone
