logon problems with 2k pro on a 2k domain
Since there was a server crash the other day, I am no longer able to log a machine onto the net work. It is as if the client has lost domain trust, meaning I can not log onto it with my domain account.

But to make things worse, the client will not let me log in locally, saying " Local Policy does not allow you to log in interactively"
Is there anyway around this without re-installing over the top of the OS...?
If the registry was to be "deleted", would the system rebuild a new one from scratch ?
No. I never made an ERD
Any thoughts please?

I've encountered this several times and unfortunately password breaking tools do not help since the security configuration is the problem.
I would have to telnet into the machine using the local admin. Then run secedit and load the default security template. Reboot and then you should be able to log on.
