Looking for Drivers

What model exactly are the sound card and modem?

Without knowing that all I can do is point you in the direction of http://www.driverguide.com which may or may not have what you're after...

Well this all depends on whether you have an integrated computer or not. If your hardware is integrated and proprietary you probably won't be able to get drivers from the manufacturer, but if your system has actualy expansion components you may be able to find drivers for your system.
If it is integrated it's possible that your HP is a Win9X machine which means HP won't support it on NT. Which means that they didn't make NT drivers for it either.
Hows about listing your sound card and modem brand and model #s.

Now, will XP or 2000 drivers work for it? I don't see why 2000 drivers wouldn't. This may work for you. Let us know, either way.

M$ changed the driver model between NT4 and 2000 so 2000 drivers are unlikely to work on it. Still worth a try though.
