Lost my w2k serial, what can I do?

In short, I lost my serial for Windows2000 OEM-version. The key was on the manual which is nowhere to be found. . . What can I do? Call Microsoft? Can they help me with my problem, especially when it's an OEM-version? Get somebody else's cd-key? But isn't it cd-specific? Find it in the registry? I've only found the ...

In short, I lost my serial for Windows2000 OEM-version. The key was on the manual which is nowhere to be found...What can I do?
 
Call Microsoft? Can they help me with my problem, especially when it's an OEM-version?

Find it in the registry? I've only found the product id, which isn't the same as the serial...
 
Before you all start shouting <nasty W-word> let me tell you I'm using a legit version of w2k, so I have the nice shiny hologrammy disc and the proper licence (which is lost though ). And please, no patronizing, I've already hit myself over the head a couple of times for losing it

Call MS, and they will help you out. If you have the pimpy disk, I am sure they will give you a new key.
