Low Level Formatting my HDD
This is a discussion about Low Level Formatting my HDD in the Windows Hardware category; Hey, I have 4 or 5 IBM Deskstar HDD and i am looking to low level format them/zero fill. I work for a company and we need this to be done in order to remove patient information permanently. I looked on IBM's website for a formatting utility but came up with nothing.

Hi,
Some old motherboards had the low level format ontion in the bios screen itself.
You may want to try that.
best luck,
Austin.
