Lucasarts games and Windows XP
This is a discussion about Lucasarts games and Windows XP in the Windows Games category; I have Windows XP and have recently bought escape from monkey island. When i tried to install it gets to 49% with just the guide not the actual installt then an error message comes up saying setup. DLL and isres.
I have Windows XP and have recently bought escape from monkey island. When i tried to install it gets to 49% with just the guide not the actual installt then an error message comes up saying
setup.DLL and isres.DLL are missing. I thought it was a faulty CD so i took it back and got a new copy this said the same thing. Yesterday i tried to install my game of grim fandango and that also said the same message at the exact same place. Whats going on??Is it a windows XP driver problem as it installs other games just not lucasarts.

do u have a diff. cd rom drives? perhaps try it in different drives, your cdrom may not be able to read that area as that could be copy protected sectors....
