Madden 2001 Install problems

This is a discussion about Madden 2001 Install problems in the Windows Games category; Using XP pro with Thunderbird processor, 256 mb ram, gf2mx. When trying to install an error box pops up that says insufficient memory to run in 16 bit windows mode. No other processes are running. No problem to install nhl 2001 or madden 2000.
