Madden 2002 install glitch

Hey guys, I have a problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I tried to install Madden 2002 on my Win2K S.P.2 machine (P2-400, 128 Ram) and it locked up right at the end of the install, just past the point that I skipped registration (I was too eager to get it running ) So naturally, I had to hard boot, and when the system came back up, it said that the file was corrupt, so I ran the reinstall from the gui, but everytime it tries to install, it says that it found a previous version, and tries to uninstall it again (which seems to finish) but I am now stuck in this vicious cycle. Can anyone help? I'm stuck without my MADDEN!

I'd suggest any responses be posted on the same thread in the Win2K games section, and not here.
All i can say is i have the same game same OS and it runs fine... Make sure once again you have all updated drivers.
Actully let me correct that i use to have windows 2k and it worked fine with it. Also works fine with xp too
