Manual or at least a layout for this known board - please
Alright, so I'm going over this chip that's clocked at 450mhz & I notice the board is set to 300 mhz - you can imagine my dismay. Anyways, I'm looking for a manual or a layout for a Hewlett Packard 8480Z P28-VE motherboard.

All I'm looking to do is set the motherboard to 450 - that's it. I've already checked the processor out, it's a 450. Any help here would be appreciated.

You're probably running at 66fsb instrad of 100. Get cpu-z and check the processor and fsb speed. The mobo may be set to run at 300 but the processor may be running at 450.

I highly doubt that, I have a couple of PCs after this year & tons of PCs before, my experience tells me that I need to set the motherboard to the right clockspeed but the only problem here is I can't find a manual or layout to do so.
I'll look into this cpu-z thing tho. thanks.

The HP site is hella goofy but I was able to find the motherboard layout on there elsewhere, thanks anyways.
