Hello ever4ybody!

I just have a problem running Master Of Magic under WinXP Pro.
Intro goes pretty well but after it completes (or after I skip it), game quits and message 'Not enough conentionnal memory' is displayed.
I have set in the memory properties page of magic.exe 640KB of memory.

I use VDMSound to get sound.
Itemmaker makes no problem (but is not really funny )

Anyone has a solution?

I haven't figured out a way around this one, either. However, you don't need VDMSound. Windows XP provides sound for it very well. I can get through the intro movie, but then it crashes with the memory error. And since I'm using NTFS I can't use a DOS boot disk. I haven't played around with it for a while. I may take another crack at it when I get a chance.

Yes. Use the adv option to point to private copies of Config.nt. In it set EMM=RAM. Have the three mem settigns to the max 16348 or some such, protect off.I have it running with sound.
