I can play Max Payne in the TUTORIAL level that you can access from the MAIN MENU and the game plays just absolutely fine, but when I try to start a NEW GAME from the MAIN MENU, the game starts to load the level and then crashes back to the DESKTOP with no error message or anything. I've tried foolin' around with the graphical settings and such and I keep getting the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what can I do to fix this?

Out of a library out of all my PC games, including Return to Castle Wolfenstein , Max Payne is the only one causing this problem. I appreciate the help and thanks in advance for replies! Help me, help you! LOL. Laterz!!
