This is a discussion about Maxi Sound Fortissimo in the Windows Hardware category; Does anyone have any idea when Guillemot plan on releasing compatible drivers for windows XP, as the the default windows drivers are terrible, as they dont support EAX or A3D, and the win 2000 drivers do not work.

Blame Yamaha on this one. They cut rear speaker support from the Win2k drivers I highly doubt it. *snif* I love that card, which will stay alongside my favorite hardware when I retire it like my Voodoo3 3000 AGP.

Good news Guillemot have just released an XP driver for the fortissimmo, i havent tried it yet but i will let you know.
