This is a discussion about mcafee in the Windows Software category; i have mcafee virus scan 7 professional when i install it an run it it is fine when i update it and then run it it fails and gives me an appcompat. exe error. what do i need to do to fix it \ i have tried the uninstall recommended by mcafee and reinstalled but it didn'twork for me.
