Finally got it to install and run fine...
Config:
Gigabyte 7DXR
Athlon XP 1700
2x512M PC2100 DDR
Gainward Cardexpert GF3
SB Audigy Platinum
Win2K Pro SP2
AMD Driverpack 1.20
Detonator XP 21.81
Used the MS Application Compatibility Toolkit 1.5 ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/nhp/Default.asp?contentid=28000911) to get around the "requires 95/98" install problem. Patched to v3.12 and runs silky smooth, music and audio just fine.
