Medal Of Honor and NT

How is it that everyone here is saying Medal of Honor will run under NT, when MOH needs directx 8 or greater to run? I have recently tried to install the demo and it will not let me past the directx 8 install.

The full version will work, since its opengl, the problem will be sound, it will be laggy due to no directx sound driver for nt, the game just uses directx 3 components for input and direct draw and stuff. the demo should work too, can you just skip the dx8 install?

No. If you try to skip the directx install the whole thing shuts down.

Odd, The full versions of MOHAA installs fine on NT4. Haven't tried the demo yet....
