medal of honour is a bandwidht hog, u won't play well on dial up, i got a 56k here(connect at 50 - 53kbps,a dn can download as fast as 7KB, good service here), i was in a t1 serevr with 2 others, and i lagged, it is broadband kind of game, IMO., same with jedi Knight II.

Yet i can play DFLW with 10 players on a cable server, and not lag at all.

try up[censored] your modem drivers, or get connected to the Inet befoer starting the game....

Try going into Internet Explorer and going to tools->internet options->connections tab and set it to 'never dial a connection'. Shouldnt ask you to dial when you play mohaa then.

other alternative is if you dont plan to play online is run a firewall and set MOH:AA to Blocked, as far as i know this is a known bug in the game which they either cant or wont fix based on reports from just after the games release.
