Memory Swapping Issue

Iv tried the NetOptomiser program from win2k, and used its disable paging exectuive and large cache options, but found they hate up way too much of my 192 meg ram very quicly, so i turned them off again, rebooted, but im not sure if its actually reverted or not.

Iv tried the NetOptomiser program from win2k, and used its disable paging exectuive and large cache options, but found they hate up way too much of my 192 meg ram very quicly, so i turned them off again, rebooted, but im not sure if its actually reverted or not. With all normal services i use, and my normal colection of 'net apps, my system used to consume around 130 meg ram. now it idles around 160, and wont stay still, and yet, task manager says i have 110 meg of pyshyical memory free! why is win2k stuffing around swaping to the hdd with so much real memory left unused? im sure its not done this before, i think its one of the tweaks, but the program reports theyr all off again. Anyone got any ideas? Im seriously stuck on this one.

OP
This question is kinda redundant now, i poked around in the registry, found the keys teh tweak was for, but they were all at default settngs. it was getting worse, so i re-installed. least everything is lean and small again

if anyone does come up with a solution.. lemme know tho.. id be curious to know what i did to it
