Microsoft Internet Pro Keybard
This is a discussion about Microsoft Internet Pro Keybard in the Windows Hardware category; I have a small problem with my Internet Pro Keyboard in XP (which I find odd. . . . You'd think MS would make sure their own hardware worked!). . . . Anyway. . . The problem I have is the volume control buttons don't move the volume up and down.

The problem I have is the volume control buttons don't move the volume up and down.... When you press it, the display comes up, but the indicator doesn't move... Mute also doesn't mute/unmute (the display also comes up)....
I'm using build 2465 and a Sound Blaster Live.....
Not a big issue, of course, but quite annoying....

what does it come up as in the device manager?? Also most keyboards like that have specific drivers for em try those. If all else fails submit a bug report, that is why the thing is there.

OP
I installed the 2000 drivers since there's no XP drivers and all the other buttons work, so I'm thinking that there's something different in the interaction between the buttons and the actual sound control.... I didn't want to submit a bug report until I was sure it was a bug.... and at this point, it really isn't... It's just "unsupported" hardware.
