anyone know how to make the sidewinder work in dos under windows xp? btw not sure if this goes in hardware or games section but i figure gamers will know more about this *crosses fingers*

Hmmm, you might want to try VDMSound but IIRC it's limited on the amount of buttons it can use.
I suggest going to http://vogons.zetafleet.com , go to the VDMSound forum and ask.
