*language bar not disabled even though I turn it off, pops up upon reboot and is enabled again
*irq 7 for everything (irq steering OK, but EVERYTHING on irq 7?)
*"hide taskbar item" enabled but irritating "reminder" still popping up telling me about hiding the menu items
*local isp internet username/password not saved even though I check the box "save this username and password..."
*when connected to the internet, "reminder" saying "you are now connected to...." (this reminderthing, how do I turn it off?)
Thanks for any help

I am really concerned about the fact XP assings all my cards to the same IRQ. It seems to be working but I get a bad feeling about it. Is there any way to change this?
using same irq is one of the core properties of 2000 n XP bc of ACPI
and it doesn't affect any performance
if u don't have any hardware problem it's ok
u can try to use without ACPI so that all your irq's go to bios detected, but u won't see any performance inc

yes ...its normal to have everything in IRQ7 because ACPI is enabled
and the question for why the changes were not saved although u checked the box is because of the winxp rc1 "patch". The patch that resets the 14 day activation will also reset any changes u have made.
Therefore everytime u restart, all your stuff will be changed back to default. you might wanna try to find another patch that will save changes =) good luck
