Mixing drivers in XP not possible???

This is a discussion about Mixing drivers in XP not possible??? in the Windows Hardware category; Tried lot of drivers(12,12 series. . . . )but im particulary interested in mixin 1290 for d3d and 1080 for openGL! Did it in WinMe with no problems at all!!!I mean mixed drivers, not that i mixed 1290 with 1080.

Should work? the new official detXPs are very good for openGL, have you tried those?
