modem driver

Could anyone please help me with my problem. I am working under windows xp and possess an Ambient modem. THe present driver I have only allows me to down load at around 30,000bps and not 44,000 like it should.

Could anyone please help me with my problem. I am working under windows xp and possess an Ambient modem. THe present driver I have only allows me to down load at around 30,000bps and not 44,000 like it should. can anyone send me info on where i can down load the appropriate driver to do this. I did possess a trust pci v90 modem but i have been unable to locate this. I would appreciate this if anyone could send me any info regarding this problem.

Intel support ambient chipsets, try looking on their website. I've got a modem with an ambient chipset and that's where i got a V92 driver for it.

Thanks for that but i really need a v90 modem to get the best speed.
